This strain is claimed to have antiviral components and was isolated from forest soil around Kanas Lake in Xinjiang Province, China. Han et al. 2015 claim the type strain equivalence is ZX01 (=CGMCC 4893 =JCM 30232). However, JCM 30232 serves as the type for Kangiella profundi. CGMCC 4893 (a patent deposit) is not available from CGMCC.
