Kämpfer et al. 2016 and LMG erroneously state CCM 8653 as the CCM deposit for this strain of Paenibacillus cucumis. However, CCM 8653 is also given as the CCM deposit number for Isoptericola cucumis (also Kämpfer et al. 2016). CCM has CCM 8655 as being the correct deposit for Paenibacillus cucumis in its catalog.
