According to Lang and Reichenbach, 2013, the original deposit, Windsor M-257, is no longer available. The authors propose the formal acceptance of the neotype strain Pl fu5 (=DSM 14668=JCM 12636) as is given in Bergey's Manual of Systematic Bacteriology, 2nd ed., vol 2.
