Nomenclatural History
The genus Caldalkalibacillus was originally proposed and validly published by Xue et al. 2006. Zhao et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2008. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Gupta et al. in 2020. Zhao et al. transferred the members of Zhao et al. 2006 into this genus in 2008.
