Nomenclatural History
The species Ochrobactrum lupini was originally described by Trujillo et al. 2005. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 110 in 2006. Gazolla Volpiano et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Holmes et al. 1988 in 2019. In 2020, Hördt et al. established as the basonym of (Trujillo et al. 2006) Hördt et al. 2020 .
