Nomenclatural History
The species Lysinibacillus sphaericus was originally described and validly published by Ahmed et al. 2007. Ahmed et al. formed this name in 2007 by placing the species Meyer and Neide 1904 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Ahmed et al. 2007 emend. Gupta and Patel 2019. Dunlap established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of corrig. Yang et al. 2012 in 2019. Dunlap established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Duan et al. 2014 in 2019. Dunlap established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Zhu et al. 2014 in 2019.
