Nomenclatural History
The species Phaeobacter daeponensis was originally described and validly published by Yoon et al. 2007. Dogs et al. published an emended description of this species in 2013. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Vandecandelaere et al. in 2008. In 2014, Breider et al. established as the basonym of (Yoon et al. 2007) Breider et al. 2014 .
