Nomenclatural History	The species Sporolactobacillus laevolacticus was originally described and validly published by Hatayama et al. 2006. Hatayama et al. formed this name in 2006 by placing the species Bacillus laevolacticus (ex Nakayama and Yanoshi 1967) Andersch et al. 1994 into the genus Sporolactobacillus Kitahara and Suzuki 1963 emend. Kitahara 1974 (Approved Lists 1980).
