Nomenclatural History
The genus Flavisolibacter was originally proposed and validly published by Yoon and Im 2007. Kämpfer et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2011. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Baik et al. in 2014, Lee et al. in 2016 and Kim et al. in 2018.
