Nomenclatural History
The species Umezawaea tangerina was originally described and validly published by Labeda and Kroppenstedt 2007. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Labeda and Kroppenstedt formed this name in 2007 by placing the species Kinoshita et al. 2000 into the genus Labeda and Kroppenstedt 2007.
