Nomenclatural History	The species Aliivibrio fischeri was originally described and validly published by Urbanczyk et al. 2007. Urbanczyk et al. formed this name in 2007 by placing the species Vibrio fischeri (Beijerinck 1889) Lehmann and Neumann 1896 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Aliivibrio Urbanczyk et al. 2007 emend. Beaz-Hidalgo et al. 2010.
