Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Insolitispirillum peregrinum peregrinum was originally described and validly published by Yoon et al. 2007. Yoon et al. formed this name in 2007 by placing the subspecies Aquaspirillum peregrinum peregrinum (Pretorius 1963) Hylemon et al. 1973 (Approved Lists 1980) into the species Insolitispirillum peregrinum (Pretorius 1963) Yoon et al. 2007. In 2007, Yoon et al. reduced Insolitispirillum peregrinum (Pretorius 1963) Yoon et al. 2007 to the rank of subspecies.
