Nomenclatural History

The species Thiorhodococcus minus was originally described by Guyoneaud et al. 1997. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 64 in 1998. Imhoff et al. corrected this name from Thiorhodococcus minus (sic) to Thiorhodococcus minor .
