Nomenclatural History	The species Butyrivibrio proteoclasticus was originally described and validly published by Moon et al. 2008. Moon et al. formed this name in 2008 by placing the species Clostridium proteoclasticum Attwood et al. 1996 into the genus Butyrivibrio Bryant and Small 1956 emend. Bryant 1974 (Approved Lists 1980).
