The species Catelliglobosispora koreensis was originally described and validly published by Ara et al. 2008. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Ara et al. formed this name in 2008 by placing the species Lee et al. 2000 into the genus Ara et al. 2008.
