Nomenclatural History	The species Fructobacillus fructosus was originally described and validly published by Endo and Okada 2008. Endo and Okada formed this name in 2008 by placing the species Leuconostoc fructosum (Kodama 1956) Antunes et al. 2002 into the genus Fructobacillus Endo and Okada 2008 emend. Bello et al. 2022.
