Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudidiomarina tainanensis was originally described and validly published by Jean et al. 2009. Liu et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Liu et al. in 2019. In 2009, Taborda et al. established as the basonym of (Jean et al. 2009) Taborda et al. 2010 . Liu et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Wu et al. 2009 emend. Liu et al. 2019 in 2019.
