Nomenclatural History
The species Pontibacter roseus was originally described and validly published by Wang et al. 2010. Zhang et al. published an emended description of this species in 2013. Wang et al. formed this name in 2010 by placing the species Suresh et al. 2006 into the genus Nedashkovskaya et al. 2005 emend. Osman et al. 2018.
