Nomenclatural History
The species Deinococcus xibeiensis was originally described and validly published by Wang et al. 2010. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. Hong et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Wang et al. 2010 emend. Hong et al. 2015 in 2015.
