Nomenclatural History
The species Aureimonas altamirensis was originally described and validly published by Rathsack et al. 2011. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Rathsack et al. formed this name in 2011 by placing the species Jurado et al. 2006 into the genus Rathsack et al. 2011.
