Nomenclatural History	The species Lonsdalea quercina was originally described and validly published by Brady et al. 2012. Li et al. published an emended description of this species in 2017. Brady et al. formed this name in 2012 by placing the species Brenneria quercina (Hildebrand and Schroth 1967) Hauben et al. 1999 into the genus Lonsdalea Brady et al. 2012. Li et al. elevated this species to the rank of subspecies to form the name Lonsdalea quercina quercina (Hildebrand and Schroth 1967) Brady et al. 2012 in 2017.
