Nomenclatural History
The species Prevotella oryzae was originally described and validly published by Sakamoto and Ohkuma 2012. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. Sakamoto and Ohkuma formed this name in 2012 by placing the species Ueki et al. 2006 into the genus Shah and Collins 1990 emend. Sakamoto and Ohkuma 2012.
