Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Staphylococcus petrasii jettensis was originally described and validly published by De Bel et al. 2014. In 2014, De Bel et al. reduced De Bel et al. 2013 to the rank of subspecies. Madhaiyan et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Pantůček et al. 2013 in 2020.
