Nomenclatural History
The species Paenibacillus shenyangensis was originally described and validly published by Jiang et al. 2015. Padakandla et al. published an emended description of this species in 2015. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Sant'Anna et al. in 2019. Sant'Anna et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Zhu et al. 2015 in 2019.
