Nomenclatural History
The species Aeromonas dhakensis was originally described by Beaz-Hidalgo et al. 2013. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 161 in 2015. Beaz-Hidalgo et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Martínez-Murcia et al. 2008 in 2013. Beaz-Hidalgo et al. elevated the subspecies Huys et al. 2002 to the rank of species to form this name in 2013.
