Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudomonas nitritireducens was originally described by Wang et al. 2012. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 163 in 2015. Lalucat et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Iizuka and Komagata 1964 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Lang et al. 2007 in 2020.
