Nomenclatural History
The species Allorhizobium taibaishanense was originally described by Mousavi et al. 2015. Mousavi et al. formed this name in 2015 by placing the species Yao et al. 2012 into the genus Frank 1889 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Young et al. 2001.

Hördt et al. 2020 independently asserted this new combination.
