Nomenclatural History
The species Paraburkholderia sordidicola was originally described by Sawana et al. 2014. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 164 in 2015. Sawana et al. formed this name in 2014 by placing the species Lim et al. 2003 emend. Peeters et al. 2016 into the genus Sawana et al. 2015 emend. Dobritsa and Samadpour 2016. In 2016, Dobritsa and Samadpour established as the basonym of (Lim et al. 2003) Dobritsa and Samadpour 2016 .
