Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudoroseovarius sediminilitoris was originally described by Sun et al. 2015. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 166 in 2015. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Sun et al. formed this name in 2015 by placing the species Park and Yoon 2013 into the genus Park et al. 2015 emend. Dobritsa and Samadpour 2016. Dobritsa and Samadpour established as a later homotypic synonym of (Park and Yoon 2013) Park et al. 2015 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 in 2016.
