Nomenclatural History
The species Archangium violaceum was originally described and validly published by Lang et al. 2015. Lang et al. formed this name in 2015 by placing the species (ex Kühlwein and Gallwitz 1958) Reichenbach 2007 into the genus Jahn 1924 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Awal et al. 2017.
