Nomenclatural History
The species Alkalispirochaeta alkalica was originally described and validly published by Sravanthi et al. 2016. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Sravanthi et al. formed this name in 2016 by placing the species Zhilina et al. 1996 into the genus Sravanthi et al. 2016.
