The species Lacinutrix iliipiscaria was originally described and validly published by Nedashkovskaya et al. 2016. Nedashkovskaya et al. formed this name in 2016 by placing the species Shakeela et al. 2015 into the genus Bowman and Nichols 2005 emend. Nedashkovskaya et al. 2016.
