Nomenclatural History	The species Cutibacterium avidum was originally described and validly published by Scholz and Kilian 2016. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Scholz and Kilian formed this name in 2016 by placing the species Propionibacterium avidum (Eggerth 1935) Moore and Holdeman 1969 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Cutibacterium Scholz and Kilian 2016 emend. Dekio et al. 2019.
