Nomenclatural History
The species Cutibacterium granulosum was originally described and validly published by Scholz and Kilian 2016. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Dekio et al. in 2020. Scholz and Kilian formed this name in 2016 by placing the species (Prévot 1938) Moore and Holdeman 1970 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Scholz and Kilian 2016 emend. Dekio et al. 2019.
