Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces luteus was originally described and validly published by Luo et al. 2017. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Komaki established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Preobrazhenskaya and Ryabova 1957) Pridham et al. 1958 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Komaki 2021 in 2021.
