Nomenclatural History
Upon validation, this name was corrected from (sic) to . The genus Caedobacter was originally proposed by Preer et al. 1974. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 1982 the name was revived and validly published by Preer and Preer. Schrallhammer et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2018.
