Nomenclatural History
The species Mycolicibacterium komanii was originally described by Gupta et al. 2018. This name replaces the name Gcebe et al. 2018 .

This name was intended to replace the NVP name “Mycobacterium komanii” Gcebe et al. 2016, which, at the time of publication, lacked certified type deposits. Validation was never requested for this name.
