Nomenclatural History	The species Sulfurisphaera tokodaii was originally described and validly published by Tsuboi et al. 2018. Tsuboi et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Sulfolobus tokodaii Suzuki et al. 2002 into the genus Sulfurisphaera Kurosawa et al. 1998 emend. Tsuboi et al. 2018.
