The genus Incertae sedis 218 was originally proposed by Murray and Stackebrandt 1995. McOrist et al. replaced this illegitimate name with
Lawsonia McOrist et al. 1995
in 1995.
"Incertae sedis" ("of uncertain placement") are placeholders and should not be considered to be formal names.
