Nomenclatural History
The species Cutibacterium namnetense was originally described by Nouioui et al. 2018. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 184 in 2018. Dekio et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Nouioui et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Aubin et al. 2016 into the genus Scholz and Kilian 2016 emend. Dekio et al. 2019.
