Nomenclatural History
The species Hungateiclostridium aldrichii was originally described and validly published by Zhang et al. 2018. Zhang et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Yang et al. 1990 into the genus Patel et al. 1980 emend. Tindall 2019. Tindall replaced this illegitimate name with (Yang et al. 1990) Tindall 2019 in 2019.
