The species Pseudoclostridium thermosuccinogenes was originally described and validly published by Zhang et al. 2018. Zhang et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species
Clostridium thermosuccinogenes Drent et al. 1995
into the genus Pseudoclostridium Zhang et al. 2018.
The nomenclatural type of this name is deposited in only one culture collection not at least two as required by Rule 30 3(b).
