Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudidiomarina insulisalsae was originally described by Liu et al. 2018. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 185 in 2019. Liu et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Taborda et al. 2010 into the genus Ivanova et al. 2000 emend. Taborda et al. 2009.
