Nomenclatural History
The species Lachnoclostridium clostridioforme was originally described by Yutin and Galperin 2013. Yutin and Galperin formed this name in 2013 by placing the species corrig. (Burri and Ankersmit 1906) Kaneuchi et al. 1976 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Yutin and Galperin 2013. Haas and Blanchard replaced this name with (Burri and Ankersmit 1906) Haas and Blanchard 2020 in 2020.

Yutin and Galperin 2013 did not formally propose this new combination.
