Nomenclatural History	The species Peptoclostridium lituseburense was originally described by Yutin and Galperin 2013. Yutin and Galperin formed this name in 2013 by placing the species Clostridium lituseburense (LaPlanche and Saissac 1948) McClung and McCoy 1957 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Peptoclostridium Yutin and Galperin 2013 non Peptoclostridium Galperin et al. 2016. Yutin and Galperin 2013 did not formally propose this new combination.
