The family Homeothermaceae was originally proposed by Ormerod et al. 2016. Lagkouvardos et al. replaced this name with
Muribaculaceae Lagkouvardos et al. 2019
in 2019.
Also referred to as S24-7 and MIB (mouse intestinal bacteria).
