Nomenclatural History
The species Cytobacillus solani was originally described and validly published by Patel and Gupta 2020. Guo et al. published an emended description of this species in 2021. Patel and Gupta formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Liu et al. 2015 into the genus Patel and Gupta 2020. Guo et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Liu et al. 2017 in 2021.
