Nomenclatural History	The genus Metabacillus was originally proposed and validly published by Patel and Gupta 2020. "The present work indicates that ‘Bacillus weihaiensis’ is also a part of the genus Metabacillus. However, as this species name is only effectively but not validly published and type strain for this species is not available in two different culture collections, a new name combination for it was not proposed."
