Nomenclatural History	The species Sporosarcina limcola was originally described by Gupta and Patel 2019. This name was validly published by Oren and Garrity 2020. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Sporosarcina limcola (sic) to Sporosarcina limicola . Gupta and Patel formed this name in 2019 by placing the species Filibacter limicola Maiden and Jones 1985 into the genus Sporosarcina Kluyver and van Niel 1936 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Gupta and Patel 2019. This orthographic variant originated in a typo by Gupta and Patel 2019.
