Nomenclatural History	The species Fuscovulum blasticum was originally described by Suresh et al. 2019. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 193 in 2020. Suresh et al. formed this name in 2019 by placing the species Rhodobacter blasticus corrig. (Eckersley and Dow 1981) Kawasaki et al. 1994 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 into the genus Fuscovulum Suresh et al. 2020.
